Excellent food. Cool waitstaff. Make a reservation. I saw many people turned away.
I had this insane salad of yellow string beans topped w duck confit, surrounded by thin slices of dried duck breast stuffed w foie gras, small wedges of cheese and tiny sweet red peppers.
We shared an appetizer and a dessert, two entrees and a bottle of wine was 85 euros. -

This is a delightful and cozy place to have authentic French cousin, duck. It's a long established family run restaurant that's friendly and non pretentious, almost even cozy.
We ordered a number of dishes and tasted and shared them all. The Foie gras with port and brandy was delightful as was the Seared duck liver and the Boneless quail filled with foie gras, which is served cold.
I had the duck confit and it was delicious with moist and very delish meat and wonderfully crispy skin.
All in all it was a memorable and great duck experience. -

Yowza. The reviews are correct here - make a reservation and go. We aren't big meat eaters but wanted to try a traditional French place during our last visit to Paris. Le Petit Canard did not disappoint at all.
The owner and staff were friendly and accommodating. We walked there and he told us he'd have a spot for us in an hour. We explored the neighborhood and returned to a night of good eats.
We had the smoked duck + melon salad appetizer - so delicious. I had the duck confit for my meal and my husband had the sliced duck breast. The confit was melt in your mouth loveliness, every bite was better than the last. The breast was tasty as well.
Prices are on par with a slightly higher end restaurant but worth it. Menus are in several languages.
Do yourself and your tummy a treat and check out Le Petit Canard. -

The little duck indeed!! This little cafe that specializes in duck is adorable. From the decor of little ducklings on the front window to the very friendly owners who serve you, everything was delightful. They open promptly at 7 pm and we were the first through the door cause we didn't have a reservation and knew it was going to be tough getting a table later in the evening. As we expected, they started turning guests away shortly after we sat down to make room for reservations.
They start you with a small cup of marinated olives to munch on while you look at the menu. Loved this small detail. My mother ordered the Duck Confit and I had the Famous Duck L'Orange. I think if I was more of an orange sauce kind of person I would've liked my dish more. It was a little too zesty for me. But the duck was tender and juicy. My mom loved the duck confit! Crispy on the outside, perfection on the inside. -

WOW. This was one of our best meals in Paris, and definitely the best duck I've had in my life. Le Petit Canard is a cozy neighborhood restaurant that feels like family, serves food with minimal bells and whistles, and will blow you away with the quality, flavor, and attention to detail with everything on your plate. From their perfectly sourced baguette to the best potatoes of my life, every dish sung.
We had the french onion soup, escargot, and duck confit. Do not leave the premises without trying the duck confit. The soup was unique and almost gravy-like. The escargot isn't for me, but the garlic butter is amazing.
Highly recommend getting a reservation, or going towards the early side of their opening. This place is packed for EVERY meal every day.
Great for dates, friends, romance, parents, long hangs. Not wheelchair accessible.
